Classroom Policies
- Please be on time! Our lesson plan has a carefully planned flow that is designed to support your child's development! Please make it a priority to arrive to class on time. Our doors are always open 15 minutes before class begins - feel free to come early!
- Walking feet, please! No running - both in and out of the classroom.
- During class time (and in the halls outside class) we will use our inside and singing voices! Sometimes it can be easy to forget that we are not the only ones using our class space. During a lot of our classes (especially during afternoons & evenings) there are other lessons going on. We have private piano, voice, and guitar lessons being taught at the school and we need to be careful not to disrupt the other RSFA teachers/students!
- Please respect one another's space. No pushing or crowding other children. If you want to use an instrument that your friend is using, wait your turn!
- Please help us care for our instruments! We want to make sure ALL of our families have the chance to enjoy our instruments, so let's take care of them!
- No food or drink in class (except bottles for infants and water for big kids/grownups as needed!)
- Please limit cell phone use during class. This is a time to connect with your child, and while it is fun to capture those moments on camera, we believe it is important to experience these moments with your children! We will have a designated picture class one week during the semester!
